I have trained Retrievers for 14 yrs. I train Retrievers for waterfowl hunting and hunt test. I also train labs for upland hunting and compete in Upland Classic flushing competition. I also train pointing dogs on a limited basis. I will raise one or two litters of pups yearly. I breed only OFA certified dogs and am trying to do my part to improve the breed. Barney Hawkins of Hulbert Oklahoma raises beautiful pointers and hunting dogs, as well as a variety of toy dogs. We visited the kennel are impressed the loving way each dog is treated. Their kennels are spotlessly clean and dogs have plenty of room and time to play. We could see that the dogs were in love with Barney and he returned the favor. We also had a chance to watch the pointers in action. They are truly poetry in motion, full of life and vigor.
